Superdrugs Exfoliating Foot Scrub

Spring has sprung, which means I have to start thinking about not wearing black tights literally seven days a week and if I don't start scrubbing, polishing, preening my legs and feet now
it won't be a pretty sight come summer. I need to literally get my feet up to fake tan standard or I will indefinitely look like I have been playing in a sand pit. Never a good look.

So I decided to go for something simple and cheap as from past experience any foot scrubs seem to work quite well. The main thing you need to look for is how 'gritty' the exfoliator is, you want something definitely more coarse than a facial scrub but nowhere near as harsh a a salt scrub, as not only is there quite tough skin on your feet but also some of the thinnest skin on your body, so you don't want to be scrubbing at it.

The texture actually comes out similar to toothpaste and is quite firm with micro beads to exfoliate.

The only hiccup I had with the product was the direction of use - it didn't explain whether or not to apply the scrub to dry or wet skin and as I found out, if applied to dry skin the mixture clumps together, goes really dry and flakes off onto the floor. I obviously had applied it the wrong.

(Sorry for the scary, pale foot photo)

So my next attempt I soaked my feet in some warm water them applied it the scrub and instantly I saw a difference, the consistency was moisturizing yet I could feel it working as I exfoliated the rougher parts of my feet. The other thing I really did like was the smell - almost fresh yet scented with peppermint, leaving your feet afterwards with a soft smell that wasn't overpowering.
Overall - The product has really worked over the past few weeks making my feet alot softer especially on the balls of my feet and the heels. However to really increase how the product works I would recommend using a Ped-Egg prior to using the scrub to definitely remove all of the dry skin.

For under £3.00 you really can't go wrong with this product
